A tranquil backdrop.

Reunion Place is nestled within a generous garden setting. Eckersley Garden Architecture has worked closely with Fender Katsalidis to create a landscape that softens and complements the architecture, working with native plants and established trees.

DESIGN

Created by Eckersley Garden Architecture

As you arrive home, you walk through a garden laneway where dappled light spills from above, and tumbling greenery tempers the horizontal beams that stretch overhead. The two apartment buildings share a prodigious, double-height lobby - a semi-enclosed garden laneway which incorporates light and nature to create a calming transition from the world outside to the residences within. This is a space of impressive scale where a connection to lush greenery, natural materials and the skylight above effortlessly combine. A bench positioned by a soothing water feature invites moments of quiet reflection.

A Relaxed Wildness.

Eckersley Garden Architecture has included a strong native bent to their plant selections, with reference to the local coastline native planting palettes with sandy tones. The landscape will be a blend of native, exotic and deciduous trees, climbers, bushes and grasses.

The top floor apartments have roof gardens, the second-floor terraces will sit within the canopies, and deep planters on the terraces will create walls of greenery that climb up and down the building. The courtyard’s design and layout allows you to feel secure and private while also engaging with the outside world. The courtyards have been designed to offer undercover spaces, with leafy pergolas providing dappled shade and privacy from above.
